Registry Cleaner Reviews - Which Registry Cleaner Companies Appear Credible?

It is quite a challenge to write high quality registry cleaner reviews. There are dozens of registry cleaner tools offered on the internet.

However, what makes it easier is that many of these companies are suspect because they don't disclose important information on their websites:

- Their company name
- Their physical office location
- Their contact phone number
- A description of their company
- Names of key executives

As well as that their web site address (URL) is anonymously registered.

And to top it off, some sites look remarkably similar to one another, yet they sell registry cleaners with different names

For this reason reviewing them all wasn't necessary. Some of the sites offering registry cleaner tools just didn't seem right. In all I evaluated 34 different websites and reduced my registry cleaner reviews down to just five quality registry cleaners that I believe deserved attention.

Directly below you can see the table containing the 34 different registry cleaner companies I looked at. The five green rows at the top are the five registry cleaners I decided to review in detail. And the red rows are the registry cleaners that were rejected. An explanation of the criteria used to develop this shortlist can be found below the table.

Criteria Used To Shortlist Registry Cleaners For Review

Below you can find a description of the criteria I used to shortlist the many registry cleaner offers so that I could write my registry cleaner reviews. Only websites which met all of these six criteria were shortlisted for a full review of their software.

Company Name On Site

I firmly believe that a company offering a product for sale over the internet should publish its company name on its website. This is the minimum level of transparency required for me to feel confident it is a credible organisation. If the product turns out to be a dud, and there are no contact details, at least you have the registered company name as a starting point.

Company Physical Address On Site

I don't feel comfortable making an online purchase unless I know that behind the website the company has a physical address. Doesn't it make you feel more comfortable if there is a physical location you could visit if you feel you have been mis-treated? This is a very important condition to qualify for full registry cleaner reviews.

Company Phone Number On Site

A company phone number provides an additional level of reassurance too. There are too many stories of customers not satisfied with their purchase emailing the customer service desk and not getting a response. With a phone number at least you can feel secure that you are able to communicate with a real person.

Company Description On Website

It was amazing how many of the websites selling registry cleaners told you absolutely nothing about the company behind the software. For me this was just way too suspect and did not help to build even the slightest amount of trust in who I was dealing with. Would you buy from a company that told you nothing about themselves?

Site URL Not Anonymously Registered

If you want to find out some basic information about the person or organisation who registered the site address you can visit a site called http://whois.domaintools.com However, if the site registrant has requested it, his or her details can be hidden and the site address simply indicates an anonymous registrant. I was amazed at the number of registry cleaner companies that have deliberately asked to hide their details from the public. To ne this is very suspect behaviour.

Names Of Key Executives On Site

My final condition to be met in order to qualify for registry cleaner reviews was transparency in regard to the names of people who work for the company. I believe that a good company will not be shy about publishing this information, as it will help to build credibility and a relationship with the users of their products.
